This is the TAS blog, commenting on a regular basis on news, developments and changes in the UK public transport industry.
Its growing readership over the six months since we launched it has convinced us that it should be made a permant part of the TAS presence on the web. It is designed to provide a forum in which the community of public transport professionals can gain additional insights into the transport business, and exchange views on issues if they wish to.
So, if you’re visiting us for the first time, do take a minute or two to create an account and give us your comments on some of the articles we’re publishing here.
You can only comment if you’re a registered user and logged on.
Some ground rules first, though:
- do try to keep it brief, as we will!
- we will moderate any comments you wish to add to the site
- we will not publish any comments which:
- contain bad or offensive language,
- insult people who have commented
- insult anybody who works in the industry.
As transport professionals, we should all be able to cope with a genuine difference of view without calling into question the probity, sanity or motivation of those who disagree with us.
Anybody who persistently abuses this will have their log-in account removed from the system – and it’s our blog, so our decision is final!
